CALCULATING LEVELS

*Round up @ 0.5*

I.e. 4.5 average is entered in Level 3 category & 4.4 is entered in Level 2 category. Begin calculating from age 6

Remember to include TOTAL years of training not just training at current studio.
MUST include the current year of training as a full year. Including combination classes.

Calculating years of training for CONTEMPORARY

Add training for contemporary, jazz & ballet and divide by 3 to determine the average of the discipline to be entered. If the dancer only takes a regular jazz and ballet class add years of training and divide by 2 to determine the level entered.

Calculating Years of Training for Song & Dance/Variety
